| Antiques, in general, covers an awful lot of territory.
From a broad perspective we found four distinct categories: 1) antiques,
2) vintage, 3) old, and 4) collectible items. We found some of the more
Internet popular areas to be antique appraisal, rings, clocks, old coins,
old books, dolls, maps and appraisers.
One of the more interesting things we found is that different sites
(and people) have different definitions of "antique". We happen
to more or less agree with the following definition we found:

You DO have your work cut out for you and you had better do tons of
homework! If you are new to the subject, find a friend or local club that
can help you get started -- they can even serve as "protectors"
to see that you don't get cheated on your purchases.
